Anguilla police intensify search for missing woman, Kimberly Fleming
The Royal Anguilla Police Force continues to search for a woman who has been reported missing. Kimberly Fleming, 37, was last seen leaving her home in the Cove West End at 9 pm on February 20, 2022.
She is 5ft 7” tall, of medium built (175 lbs.) and has a dreadlocks hairstyle. She was last seen wearing a black dress with a black throw-over.
To date, she has not been seen or heard from. This matter was reported to The Valley Police Station on February 22, 2022.
Superintendent Haslyn Patterson of the Royal Anguilla Police Force is the Senior Investigating Officer leading the investigation into this missing person report for Kimberly Fleming of The Cove West End.
Owing to the length of time that Kimberly Fleming has not been seen or heard from, this matter was declared a Critical Incident by Commissioner of Police David Lynch.
As such, Superintendent Patterson has authorised the deployment of all available resources to assist with the search for Kimberly Fleming. Over the past 48 hours, the Force’s search teams have conducted many targeted investigations in and around The Cove, West End and South Hill Areas. These searches are currently in progress.
The search teams comprise members of the Royal Anguilla Police Force, members from the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Department, a Canine unit from St Maarten, members of the Soroptimist International of Anguilla, Anguilla Red Cross and volunteers from around Anguilla. The efforts are being supported by a search aircraft and a motor vessel.
The family of Kimberly Fleming is being updated on the progress of this investigation through a family Liaison Officer who has been assigned to support the family.
“Over the past 48 hours, we have received and investigated several lines of enquiry concerning this matter. At this stage, we consider the risk to the victim to be high, and we are treating this matter extremely seriously.
Her excellency The Governor is constantly being updated on the status of this investigation,” said Superintendent Haslyn Patterson.
An appeal has been made to public members, with any information concerning this investigation to contact the RAPF via telephone numbers 497-2333/ 5333 or submit an utterly confidential report via their website www.gov.ai/911.
Additionally, contact can be made with any Police Officer a public member feels comfortable speaking to.
The Royal Anguilla Police Force has thanked the members of the public who have volunteered their time and energy thus far in assisting with the search for Kimberly Fleming.
