Antigua and Barbuda wins Miss Jaycees 2023 Queen title
Ischikelle Corbin of Antigua and Barbuda is the new Miss Jaycees Caribbean Queen.
The 2023 Jaycees Queen Show was held in Antigua and Barbuda last night.
Corbin outshined contestants from the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Haiti, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and the United States Virgin Islands to claim the crown.
She was named Miss Congeniality and also won Best in Interview, Best in Swimwear, Best Performing Talent, Best Modelling Skills for Evening Wear and Best Dressed for Evening Wear.
Upon her crowning Antigua Carnival posted:
"On behalf of the Minister of Education, Sports and Creative Industries, Honourable Daryll Matthew, Commissioners of Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission, Management and Staff would like to express our heartfelt congratulations to our *2023 Queen of Carnival, Miss, Miss Ischikelle Corbin*, for capturing the 2023 Miss Jaycees International Queen title.

The first runner-up in the pageant went to Adicia Burton of Dominica.
Dominica Festivals in a congratulatory message said:

Our reigning Carnival queen, on the platform of Reparations for Indigenous People of the Caribbean with a focus on Kalinago, gave an excellent and consistent performance throughout the show.
From the Discover Dominica Authority and Dominica Festivals Committee, congratulations Adicia for showcasing the essence of our culture and heritage - your passion for Waitukubuli shines through, making you an extraordinary ambassador of Dominica's beauty and talent."
The second runner-up in the pageant went to Shadyn McLean of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Miss SVG Pageant in its congratulations said:
"You went. You performed. You left no crumbs! Shadyn, congratulations on an exceptionally amazing performance and representation! WE are proud of you!!! You are deserving of all the accolades you received tonight and much more
Shadyn placed second runner up in the Miss Jaycees 2023 pageant."
Miss St Lucia’s Shanice Butcher was named Miss Photogenic and Most True to the Theme.
This year, The Miss Jaycees Queen Show is celebrating 60 years of Vibrancy, Culture and Talent.
