Blinken meets with Belizean Prime Minister
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken welcomed Belizean Prime Minister John Briceño to the State Department on Monday.
Blinken and Briceño say their meeting will cover various issues, including those affecting CARICOM nations, climate, food insecurity and the conflict in Ukraine.
"Belize is a strong partner for the United States on so many issues of mutual concern," said Blinken.
"We appreciate so much Belize, a strong voice on global issues, including, for example, the Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as its strong ties to Taiwan."
