Caribbean Alert has received confirmation Motion of no Confidence was Filed in St. Kitts and Nevis. The Peoples Action Movement (PAM) and The Concern Citizen Movement (CCM), two factions of the Government, had filed a Motion of No-confidence against the leader Timothy Harris.
The Motion of No Confidence came weeks after public debate and words of fighting against each other not coming to common grounds after numerous meetings.
Under the new law put in place by TEAM UNITY, the national assembly speaker has to schedule a sitting in 21 days for the motion to be debated. After passing the Motion of No-confidence, the Prime Minister has 90 days to dissolve parliament, which he will likely do other than the other option to resign in three days.
