Caribbean events to look forward to in 2022
As the world adjusts to living with COVID-19, events slowly return in the Caribbean.
Festivals and events have been an essential part of the tourism product here in the region, helping to boost intra-regional travel and keeping the industry going during traditional low periods for international visitors.
While they may not yet resemble what took place before the pandemic, efforts are being made to bring back some events in various islands and to find the balance between enjoyment and safety.
Here are some countries with events that you can look forward to this year. Please be reminded to check the destination and event websites for updates continually.
Montserrat
St. Patrick's Festival 2022 will be held from March 12 to 19. This year marks the festival's 40th anniversary, which will be a hybrid experience for the second year since the pandemic halted the 2020 edition of the popular event. Details are yet to be finalized.
