Caribbean leaders at first Saudi Arabia-CARICOM Summit
Saudi Arabia and CARICOM countries have come together for the inaugural Saudi-CARICOM Summit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which got underway today.
Prime Minister of Dominica and Head of CARICOM, Roosevelt Skerrit, co-chaired the first Saudi Arabia- CARICOM Summit held in Riyadh under the patronage of HRH the Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
A statement from the Press Secretary for the Office of the Prime Minister in Dominica said the objective of the round-table discussion was to deepen bilateral relations and facilitate new partnerships between CARICOM member states and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
HRH Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, earlier welcomed PM Skerrit.
The Summit, which takes place from November 16 to 17, is aimed at fortifying partnerships and discussing areas of mutual concern.
