Chronic Law open to more collabs, says Vybz Kartel inspires him
Chronic Law is committed to working with any artiste who wants to work with him to help improve the standing and reach of dancehall music globally.
“We a go collab with every artiste; you done know, politics is real, so a nuh we and everybody is friend. We a plan fi do a whole heap of collaboration, even with female artistes,” Chronic Law told Loop Entertainment recently.
The team caught up with the ‘Hillside’ singer at the launch of Yaksta’s album ‘22’ recently. Chronic Law is featured on the Bush Lawd’s 19-track album with the song ‘In This Life’.
The recording artiste copped the top spot as the most streamed artist in Jamaica for 2022 on YouTube, dethroning incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel, who Chronic Law told Loop Entertainment is his inspiration.

For the St Thomas native, it important that he represents the talent that is coming out of his parish.
“We have to represent where we come from inna real life, because [of] the 6ix thing, people think a MoBay we come from. We haffi make dem know seh a St Thomas we come from,” he said.
