… On Friday, the Ministry of Public Health reported 3,308 new Covid-19 cases and 20 deaths, the highest number in both indicators on a single day since the pandemic outbreak.
During his daily briefing on television, the National Director of Epidemiology, Dr Francisco Duran, reported that 134 new cases were imported. The rest resulted from the local transmission, so 197,253 cases with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus have been reported in the country.
