Cuban Embassy in Argentina Target of State Terrorism
Havana, Nov 27 (ACN) A ceremony at the Cuban embassy in Buenos Aries, attended by outstanding activist Taty Almeida, of Argentina’s Plaza de Mayo Mother’s organization, unveiled a poster at the diplomatic mission by the Human Rights Agency of the Nation declaring the embassy as a facility attacked by state terrorism during the latest military dictatorship in the South American nation.
The Nation’s Human Rights Secretary, Horacio Pietragalla, said that the Cuban mission was the victim of a macabre plan perpetrated by Washington in the region through the so-called Condor Plan
Meanwhile, Cuban ambassador to Buenos Aires, Pedro Pablo Prada recalled examples revealing terrorist acts against Cuban missions abroad and called to avoid the repletion of such actions in any place of the planet.
An example of this were two young Cuban diplomats, Jesus Arias and Crescencio Galanena, who were kidnapped on August 9, 1976 as they left the embassy; they were taken to an underground detention center called “Automotores Orletti,” where they were tortured and murdered.
