Ex-cop found injured in front home in St Elizabeth, JA
Police in St Elizabeth are probing a case in which an ex-policemen was found wounded in front of his house this morning.
The man, an ex-corporal, was found with several wounds and has since been taken to hospital where he underwent surgery and has been admitted, the police said.
OBSERVER ONLINE understands that around 2 am, law enforcement officers were called to a scene.
Upon arrival, the police found the ex-cop lying on the ground at the entrance of his residence. He reportedly had several stab wounds to the body and another injury to the head, believed to be caused by a stone.
The police said the ex-cop was conscious at the time he was found but was unable to provide them with much information.
He was taken to the hospital, and the scene was processed for clues.
