Four men charged for trafficking cocaine in Grenada
Police in Grenada recently arrested and charged four men after nine kilograms of cocaine were seized during an operation by officers attached to the Drug Squad.
The Royal Grenada Police Force says Lindon Francis, Rahim Francis, and Rondel Rogers, all fishermen of Soubise, St Andrew, and Codel Douglas, a national of Trinidad and Tobago, were charged.
The incident occurred at Marquis, St Andrew, on September 6.
Douglas also received an additional charge of Entering the State without the consent of an Immigration Officer. He appeared during a special sitting of the Grenville Magistrate’s Court on September 10 and was remanded to custody at Her Majesty's Prison.
He will reappear in court on September 20, 2021.
The other accused men were scheduled to appear in court today.
