Guyana's President arrives in T&T for three-day state visit

President of Guyana, Dr Irfaan Ali, arrived in Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday for an official three-day state visit.

He arrived at the Piarco International Airport this afternoon along with his wife, Arya and son, Zayd.

He was greeted by Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Amery Browne, Trade Minister Paula Gopee-Scoon, Tourism Minister Randall Mitchell and Agriculture Minister Kazim Hosein.

During his visit, Ali will attend several events, including a courtesy call with Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley.

He will leave the country on Sunday.
