Haiti: PM Ariel Henry on official visit to Suriname
Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry, at the head of a delegation, is on an official visit to Suriname to participate Saturday, November 25, in the ceremony celebrating the 48th anniversary of Suriname's independence, of which he is the guest of honor.
On the sidelines of this ceremony, Ariel Henry will have working sessions with the President of Suriname, Chandrikapersad Santokhi.
The Haitian delegation is composed, among others, of Ministers Enold Joseph (Defense) Ricardin St-Jean (Commerce and Industry), as well as representatives of the private sector, will have several meetings around the strengthening of cooperation between Haiti and Suriname, security, management of migratory flows, trade and agriculture.
In the absence of the Prime Minister, the interim in Haiti is provided by Michel Patrick Boisvert, the Minister of Economy and Finance.
