Hosts register second straight win Hull Kingston Rovers 26-6 Leeds
Hull KR came into the match off their first win of the season when they narrowly beat Huddersfield Giants 25-24 seven days previously. Ryan Hall touched down for the hosts early on, with Matt Parcell not far behind him and Linnett also crossing. Brad Dwyer cut Rovers' lead before the break, but Linnett bagged another try for the hosts in the second half.
Linnett crashed over for his third try with just over 10 minutes left on the clock to put Rovers out of sight. Hall's try against his former side was his 200th in Super League and his fourth in four games for Hull KR and lifted him to second in the list of all-time try-scorers in the league behind Rovers assistant Danny McGuire. However, Linnett stole the show for the hosts with his hat-trick capping off a fine performance for the Hull KR centre.
Leeds named a much-changed squad from their defeat by Wigan, with Konrad Hurrell and Ash Handley making their first appearances of the season, but they could not match the hosts as they slipped to a second loss as many games.
