Jamaica: Father, son found dead in bushes
The police have confirmed that the bodies of two men – a father and son – were discovered in bushes in the Worthy Park area of Lluidas Vale, St Catherine, on Monday afternoon.
According to reports, the elder man, identified as Michael Slue, and his son, whose name was not released, went to their field on Monday.
When they did not return home when expected, relatives became suspicious and launched a search for them.
Their bodies were discovered at about 5:45 p.m. in bushes near their field with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
The police were alerted, and the bodies were removed to the morgue.
The deaths bring to three the number of persons from the same family to have been murdered since last year. The body of one of the elder Slue brothers was discovered with gunshot wounds in the same area.
No motive has been established for the double murder.
The St Catherine North Police are carrying out investigations.
