Magnitude 4.6 earthquake strikes near Road Town, British Virgin Islands
An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred early morning on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, at 2:40 am local time near Road Town, British Virgin Islands, as reported by the United States Geological Survey.
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at a shallow depth of 22.5 km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
