Masicka celebrates 'Generation of Kings' birthday party on December 16
On the heels of his Billboard chart-topping album ‘Generation of Kings (G.O.K)’, all roads lead to Plantation Cove in St Ann on December 16, 2023, where the young dancehall giant, Masicka, is set to ignite the stage in celebration of his birthday, dubbed G.O.K.
The ‘Tyrant’ hitmaker will be headlining the event, sharing the stage with industry heavyweights, Bounty Killer, Kabaka Pyramid, Romain Virgo, Jahshii, Chronic Law, Lila Ike, and Yaksta.
The Dragon-sponsored event, hosted by Badda Bling, will also see high-energy juggling from DJs and sound systems such as ZJ Chrome, Bass Odyssey, Bishop Escobar, Shukkle Bus and Di Unit.
Co-promoter of the event, Romeich Major shared that patrons are in for a treat.
“I feel very good about the upcoming event. Masicka just dropped his album, and its doing great, and you know Masicka, for the past couple years, has been one of dancehall’s best,” the entertainment business mogul shared.
“Some of the greatest are also on the line-up, so it’s a good mixture of reggae and dancehall, and we tek it to the middle of Jamaica, right in St Ann. Me really a look forward to it and just really want the patrons to come out and party and drink responsibly, and enjoy themselves.
“It’s a launch of G.O.K to Jamaica; it’s a birthday party fi Masicka and just a celebration of a great artiste and friends,” he commented.
Masicka, who recently performed in Kingston after a five-year hiatus at the Streetz Festival, is anticipated to deliver nothing short of a top-class set and an electric performance.
Dragon Junior Brand Manager Arnaldo Martin is also looking forward to the event.
“Masicka has been our ambassador since 2020, championing the message of positive masculinity, and he is reaping huge successes, especially since the launch of his latest album, ‘Generation of Kings’. When you think about Dragon, you think of persons who are hardworking with a strong determination to succeed, and Masicka embodies that. We know this party will be epic, and we look forward to continuing to support him on the big stage.”
