Over 430 migrants arrive on England shores
More than 430 migrants sailed across the English Channel to the UK on Monday.
According to the source, women and children are among those who made the dangerous journey from Europe searching for asylum in the United Kingdom.
Monday's figure included a group of around 50 men, women, and children who were seen walking ashore after landing near Dungeness in Kent.
According to data compiled by the PA news agency, the number set a new single-day record, passing the previous daily high of 416 sets in September last year.
Local television footages show migrants aboard rubber boats and others sitting on the beach after completing the journey from French or Belgian shores.
BBC chain informed, for its part, that about 8,000 people have arrived in the United Kingdom through the English Channel in 2021.
The British Conservative Government submitted a bill to Parliament that, if passed, would allow it to send asylum seekers to processing centres in third countries.
