Royal Grenada Police Force mourns the passing of fellow police officer

The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) has been plunged into mourning following the passing of fellow officer Assistant Superintendent Byron Clyne.
Clyne, who was last attached to the Central Division, passed away at the Princess Alice Hospital on September 15.
The Commissioner of Police, Gazetted Officers, Rank, and File of the force have extended condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues as we come to terms with this loss.
Following his death, the Commissioner of Police ordered that all police flags be flown at half-mast.
Prime Minister DR Keith Mitchell also expressed condolence to the officer’s family and the RGPF.
Mitchell notes ASP Clyne joined the RGPF on January 19, 1985, serving for 36-years in various capacities.
At the time of his passing, ASP Clyne was Second in Charge of the Central Division of the RGPF.
