St Vincent records first homicide for 2023
A farmer from St Vincent and the Grenadines is the island’s first recorded homicide for 2023.
The deceased has been identified as Selwyn Foye, 46, of Carriere, Mesopotamia.
According to the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, investigations revealed that the deceased was discovered lying on the bypass road between Collins and Evesham with what appeared to be gunshot wounds about his body.
Police say the motive for this killing is unknown.
Foye’s death marks the first homicide recorded for 2023.
A postmortem examination will be carried out on the deceased to ascertain the exact cause of death.
