SVG: Police need help identifying female body found in bag
The Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the body of a female discovered last week at Richmond Hill in the vicinity of Joyette’s Auto Collision.
The police force says since the discovery of the body, it has been unable to identify the person. In addition, no one has come forward to claim or identify the deceased.
The victim’s name and occupation remain unknown; she is believed to be between the age of 15 to 20 years, is slim built and has a dark complexion. The victim is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, and her hair is about 12 inches in length.
The female victim has a tattoo on her right forearm with the words “Love is pain” and a tattoo on her left forearm with “strength”, followed by a cross symbol. She was also wearing a gold-plated neck chain and a pendant with the words “Taurus”.
Anyone with information that can assist in identifying the deceased is encouraged to contact the police.
The gruesome discovery was made on May 12. According to reports, a passerby came across a foul smell and saw a crocus bag in some nearby bushes. He felt the outline of a hand from outside the bag.
Investigations into the incident continue.
