Three more charged with Tobago murder
Three more men have been charged with the murder of Winfield McKain, which occurred on January 28th. They are expected to appear virtually before a Scarborough Magistrate today.
Deion Woods, aka ‘Kernel Roberts’ and ‘Do Things’, 31, of Scarborough, Jeromi Billy, 31, of Buccoo, and Thomas Peter Williams, aka ‘Reddo’, ‘Redman’ and ‘G-Pabs’, 20, of Scarborough, were charged with the offence, following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC, on February, 25th.
Mc Kain, aka ‘Cox’, 52, an electrician, was found dead at his home, on Friday 28th January 2022, with wounds to the upper part of his body.
According to police reports, Woods and Billy were arrested in connection with the incident on February 17th 2022, while Williams was held on February 22nd 2022, all in the Tobago Division. Insp supervised investigations. Lynch and Mongroo and W/Sgt.
Joefield, all of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region One, Tobago Sub-Office, and included officers of the Tobago Division and the Tobago Divisional Task Force. The trio was charged on Friday 25th February 2022, by PC Broomes, also of HBI Region One, Tobago Sub-Office. This murder was previously solved with Michael Robely, 20, of Mt. St. George, being charged and appearing before a Scarborough Magistrate on Thursday, 17th February 2022.
