T&T citizen charged in Grenada with robbery
A citizen of Trinidad and Tobago identified as a Special Reserve Police Officer (SRP) and a Grenadian man have been charged with robbery with violence in Grenada.
A statement from the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) on December 30, 2022, said:
"Christon Balboza, 27, Special Reserve Police Officer, a Citizen of Trinidad & Tobago and Stephen Francis, 28, a Fisherman of Victoria, St Mark, were arrested and jointly charged for the offence of Robbery with Violence in connection with the December 22, 2022 Robbery at Grand Mal Gas Station."
The police statement said Francis was also charged with the offence of Assault with a Dangerous Instrument, to wit, a gun.
Both men were remanded to His Majesty’s Prisons.
The matter was adjourned to January 10, 2023.
