University of Belize requires full vaccination status for returning students
The University of Belize has advised that only fully vaccinated students can take courses on campus to facilitate face-to-face instruction for the 2021-2022 Semester. That will be supported in adherence to the universal precautions of mask-wearing, hand washing /sanitizing, and physical distancing.
The University says all UB students must provide proof of vaccination status by December 31, 2021, to their respective faculties to participate in face-to-face activities in the January to May 2022 semester.
All Faculty and Staff are also required to submit a copy of their vaccination record to the Human Resources Department on or before December 15, 2021.
It states that employees who choose not to be vaccinated must present a negative antigen test every two weeks via email to the Human Resources Office before coming on campus.
The University of Belize says it is committed to delivering quality tertiary education and professional training on its campuses, but this can only be accomplished through everyone’s support as ‘we protect each other to combat the pandemic.’
