Water disruption in parts of North-West Trinidad
The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) advises customers in parts of North-West Trinidad, served by the Tucker Valley Booster Station that there will be a disruption in their pipe-borne water supply on Thursday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
WASA says this is to facilitate urgent pipeline repair works at the facility.
The affected areas include Macqueripe Road, Western Main Road, The Cove, Tetron Barracks, L’anse Mitan, Scorpion Street, School Street, Carenage, Point Cumana, Glenco (inclusive of La Horquette Valley Road), The Park and Westvale Park.
WASA is also telling customers that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalise in some affected areas, following established water supply schedules, following the completion of these repairs.
The Authority says a limited truck-borne service will be available upon request.
