On Christmas morning, a woman was stabbed on the Sucker Garden road near Cowboy's area.
It was revealed that the victim had been arguing for some time with her boyfriend who after a violent altercation had stabbed the woman with a knife.
It remains unclear who first drew the knife that used to injure the victim. The woman was given first aid by ambulance personnel and transported to the St Maarten Medical Center for further treatment. The injuries to the victim were not life-threatening.
