31-year-old man charged for sexually assaulting a child in California
A 31-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting a Lake Elsinore child was arrested Friday, Aug. 13.
Javier Moreno Loma of San Juan Capistrano was booked into the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of lewd acts on a child and penetration of a minor with a foreign object.
According to Reese, the assaults occurred at a residence in the 700 block of Quail Drive, near Ashland Avenue, in December 2017 and January 2018. The age and gender of the victim were not released.
Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Jeff Reese said that detectives were informed of the accusation last month and initiated an investigation.
The relationship between the suspect and victim, if any, also was not disclosed.
