Ding Dong’s birthday bash sizzles
Kemar 'Ding Dong' Ottey celebrated his 43rd birthday last Friday in the national stadium car park of the national stadium, surrounded by fellow artistes, dancers, and influencers who came to honour the 'Dancing King'.
Romeich Entertainment hosted the star-studded affair, with Magnum Tonic Wine as its power source. Stone Love, Boom Boom, Escobar, Noah Powa, Kryptic, and Fyahman served as the night’s vibe masters.
"Ding Dong consistently sets higher standards each year, and we're delighted to join him on his journey. We've reached many milestones together, and his dedication to the brand, creativity, and passion never goes unnoticed. It's only right that we show up for him on his special day, just as he does for us," said Kamal Powell, regional marketing manager for Magnum Tonic Wine.
Just before Ding Dong took the stage, Boom Boom brought out a live goat to symbolise Ding Dong's G.O.A.T status in Jamaica's dancehall community.
Ding Dong made his appearance around 1:00am and, while insisting that it wasn't a stage show, performed an acapella snippet of his hit song 'Happiness.' He then transitioned into 'Badman Fawud, Badman Pullup,' followed by 'Bomb' and 'Good Ting Dem,' backed by his Ravers Clavers crew.
"Thanks to the Almighty for allowing me to see another year. Thanks to my wife, Romeich, Magnum, Grace, Boom, and everyone who came out to celebrate with me," expressed a grateful Ding Dong.
