World’s largest cruise ship, Wonder of the Seas, visits St Kitts
Wonder of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, made its inaugural call to Port Zante in St Kitts earlier this week.
The ship from the Royal Caribbean Group brought with it 6,495 guests and 2,259 crew members.
A local delegation led by Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew has welcomed onboard the Oasis class vessel for a brief plaque exchange ceremony.
“You have confidence in the destination by adding St Kitts and Nevis to your now largest vessel, the Wonder of the Seas, with a passenger capacity of 6,988,” said Prime Minister Dr Drew.
The wonder of the Seas is the fifth inaugural cruise call to St Kitts since October 2022.
Meanwhile, St Kitts welcomed the inaugural visit of yet another cruise ship to its shores on November 26.
Evirma is the sixth cruise ship to make its inaugural call to St Kitts since October.
